David is from a small village in a small state with no entertainment and the only entertainment was to derive some from the nature itself. One day, David decide to move to a large metropolitan to get a better life. So, he made the move and arrive in the metropolis soon after. When he is in the metropolis, he found that the people are living a much better life. They are moving in a much faster pace, earning much more money than in the village, and have a better lifestyle. As David starts to adapt to living in the metropolis, he soon got to know people and was introduced into the nightlife of the city. The dazzling nightlife and the ecstasy from this lifestyle attracted him alot and he was hooked on thereafter. As time progresses, he felt it has gotten stale and was looking for more excitement. This time, he was introduced to drugs to achieve higher pleasure of life and to be promoted into the higher standard of life. Well, what is there to say anymore. Once introduced to drugs, there was no turning back to everything. He got addicted and keep asking for more and more. But the consequences was bad. Soon, he was abandoned and having to live aimlessly in life, with every penny spent on drugs and any more money that he earned was spent on drugs too. The addiction provide no turning back into his old lifestyle and he ended up being another rotten person who stumbled on the dark lifestyle of the city. Some things in life, are like drugs; being an addiction and provides no turning back once we step into it. To resist the temptation and remain steadfast, is not easy indeed.
