There's two kind of relationships: One where both parties barely know each other, but feelings are mutual and they decided to pursue the relationship further and know each other better from there. The other one is whether both parties started out as friends, develop further to be good friends and they realize that they've fallen for each other, and that's where they decided to pursue the relationship further.
Both types of relationship have their pros and cons. Scenario A started with both parties barely know each other and progress to understand each other better. As the relationship goes further, they understand each other better, they find out whether they are suited for each other, then they decide whether they will learn to accept the differences and stayed on. Fights and arguments are bound to happen, but it makes them either stronger or fragile. But the challenge in getting to know each other better, the excitement is there and there's always a new thing everyday.
Scenario B started with both parties know each other well enough, and understand each other enough. As the relationship progress, they will still find out new things about each others, but lesser and maybe more private and in details. The relationship is stable from the start, so there's bound to be lesser fights, but more of compromising and communications. But, this is where sometimes the relationship gets stale and progress nowhere. It just get stuck in the middle unless there's new things added as the journey progress on. Stability and conformity. So, which are you?
